Better Recycling for Suffolk - MSDC

MSDC are introducing a new way of recycling in Suffolk. For Claydon & Whitton delivery of bins will be in April 2026. The initiative will better support the way we recycle and look to reduce the pressure on landfill.

The policy requires all councils to:

• provide weekly food waste collections

• collect a core list of recyclable items

• collect fibre recyclables (e.g. paper and cardboard) separately

This will make sure the same items are collected for recycling no matter where in the country you live. Therefore, helping more people to recycle and boost national recycling rates. Recycle more, waste less!
